Christina recently completed a Masters in Health Administration from Dalhousie University during which time she developed a framework for improving the safety and efficiency of clinical handovers based on evidence of best-practice, change management theories, and principles of reliability science. Also during this time, Christina completed a residency with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) where she contributed to a number of projects including the development of an organizational inventory of quality and safety programs, an investigation into optimal models of nursing care, and to the redesign of patient transfer processes to improve patient safety at the BC Children’s Hospital.
