ImpactBC Journal Club

After the success of our initial journal club series in 2009 and the numerous requests for it to resume, we announced the continuation of the ImpactBC Journal Club in September 2010.

Since September the discussions have focused on the work being done in quality improvement in the health care sector. Participants say …

“I appreciate the sharing of experiences and current work in the discussion. There's much to be learned”

“Reminds us that literature is another avenue to keep us current in the field. Helpful to discuss concepts.”

The journal club facilitates a community of learning around quality improvement and gives those who work in health care an opportunity to learn something new, do some good while having fun and learn from the success of others.

We aim to continue to build capacity for quality improvement in BC, discuss ways to apply our knowledge and increase confidence in applying the tools necessary for successful outcomes in the BC health care system.
