Please join ImpactBC’s Executive Director Quality Improvement, Scott Shearer, for the Supporting Innovation & Improvement Learning Series on Wednesday December 14, 2011 from 11am-12pm (Pacific time).

Scott is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, has a Master of Business Administration from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan. He has worked in various areas of the Canadian and US healthcare systems as a nurse, manager and director.  Scott has been involved with numerous quality improvement projects and has a passion for enhancing the patient experience, improve the quality of patient care and reduce costs to the health care system. 

This free webinar will continue our discussion of the Theory of Profound Knowledge, exploring the third lens: Variation.  Focus will be placed on the basics of variation, how to recognize when variation in normal and when it is of special circumstances, and some methods to track data and respond to variation.
