Support the Health Authorities

Description

ImpactBC is contracted by the Ministry of Health to provide support for the Health Authorities to embed Quality Improvement in primary and community health integration work, as well as other areas of system transformation, in order to better meet the needs of individuals with complex conditions.

Our Role

ImpactBC provides the following support services to the Health Authorities:

  • Coaching and mentorship in quality improvement methodologies
  • Supporting the application of the Triple Aim framework in practice
  • Training and support for the use of the Model for Improvement and the Plan, Do, Study, Act cycle in improvement work
  • Supporting Health Authority Learning Sessions as requested
  • Facilitating local Quality Improvement workshops as requested
  • Development of Quality Improvement training resources and tools
  • Support for patient journey mapping, as well as process mapping in general
